The complete guide to quinceañera photography in Atlanta
Everything there is to decide, in the order it has to be decided: the real budget, when to book, what full-day coverage actually covers, and how it gets paid for. Prices are published, not quoted on request.
What it costs
In Atlanta, families put between $2,200 and $4,500 toward photography and video for a quinceañera. After the venue it is the largest line in the budget, and it is the only one that still exists once the party is over.
Our quinceañera package is $1,890 and covers the full day with both photo and video. It lands below that band because one team shoots both on the same day, rather than two separate vendors coordinating on the fly.
The day, hour by hour
A quinceañera is not one event, it is three in a row. This is how the 8 hours of coverage break down:
| Moment | What happens | What gets shot |
|---|---|---|
| At home | Getting ready, hair and makeup, the dress, family. | Portraits, dress and shoe details, the moment her father sees her ready. |
| The mass | Entrance, religious ceremony, offering, exit. | Full ceremony on video, portraits with padrinos and family outside. |
| The reception | Grand entrance, waltz, shoe ceremony, toasts, surprise dance. | The full waltz, the full surprise dance, the speeches and the party. |
The waltz and the surprise dance are filmed in full, not in fragments: they were rehearsed for months.
When to book
Six months to a year ahead. That is not a sales tactic, it is two concrete reasons:
- The good Saturdays go first. In peak season a studio covers one event per weekend, and the date is assigned in booking order.
- The payment plan needs months. Four instalments spread over eight months are comfortable; the same four over two months are not. Booking early is what makes the payment easy, not the price.
If the date is flexible there is a third reason: events falling between November 1st and April 30th carry a 15% discount. It is a published rule and it applies automatically based on the event date.
What the package includes
One package, one price: $1,890. There are not three tiers because a quinceañera does not have three versions — either the full day is covered or it is not.
- 8 hours: home, church, reception hall
- Photography and video
- 2 operators
- 10 min film + 60 min documentary edit
- Dress portrait session beforehand
- Every step handled in Spanish
Delivered in 14 days, written into the contract. Price current as of August 22, 2026.

See the quinceañera packageThe payment plan
The date is held with $300. The balance splits into 4 interest-free instalments, handled directly with the studio: no third-party lender, no credit check and no surcharge for paying over time.
| Payment | Amount | When |
|---|---|---|
| Hold | $300 | On booking the date |
| Instalments 1 to 3 | $390 each | One per month |
| Instalment 4 | The exact remainder | 14 days before the event |
Example with the event a year out. The real schedule is generated from your date, and the instalments add up to the exact price: the last one absorbs the rounding, so you never pay a cent more or less.
The full schedule, with every due date and what has been paid, is visible in the client portal from the day you book.
The dress session beforehand
It is included and happens weeks before the party, with the dress already fitted. It does three very concrete things:
- The invitation photographs, which have to go out well in advance.
- The large framed portrait for the reception and the entrance-table photos.
- Getting her used to the camera before the day. It shows more than anything else in the event photographs, and it is the least-mentioned reason for doing it.
It is shot on location around Atlanta or in studio, depending on the dress and what the framed portrait should look like. Decided on the call.
How to choose
Six questions. Asked of three studios, they turn three loose numbers into an actual comparison.
- From what point do the hours start counting: the house, the mass or the reception?
- How many people will actually be shooting?
- Are the waltz and the surprise dance delivered in full, or only inside the highlight?
- How many days until delivery, and is it in writing?
- How does payment work and what happens if the date has to change?
- Who will be there on the day? Is it the person I am talking to?
Here the answers are: from the house; two operators; both delivered in full; 14 days by contract; a hold plus four instalments; and the person filming is Roberto, the owner, who is who you spoke to from the first call. The whole process runs in Spanish if you prefer.
