Who we are

Scola Media LLC (“Scola”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a creative studio based in Atlanta, Georgia, providing photography, video and branding services. Our website is https://scolamedia.com.

What information we collect

We collect the minimum information required to provide our services and run this website:

Booking / quote requests: name, email, phone number, event date, location, project details. Provided voluntarily through our /book/ wizard.
Client portal access: if you are an active client, we create a WordPress account with your email to access /my-project/. Authentication uses time-limited magic links sent to your inbox.
Payments: processed exclusively by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain transaction IDs, payment amounts and dates for accounting.
Email correspondence: messages you send through forms or to booking@scolamedia.com.
Analytics: if you consent to “Analytics” cookies, we collect anonymized usage data via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps, session recordings without personally identifying information).
Marketing: if you consent to “Marketing” cookies, we may load Meta Pixel for advertising attribution.

How we use it

To respond to inquiries and prepare quotes.
To deliver contracted services and share project files.
To process payments and issue receipts.
To improve the site (only with your analytics consent).
To comply with legal obligations (tax records, etc.).

How we share it

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers required to operate:

Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
Resend — transactional emails (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy).
Google — Drive (file storage), Analytics, Maps, Places reviews. Subject to Google’s privacy policy.
Hostinger — website hosting (hostinger.com/privacy-policy).

Cookies

This site uses cookies organized in three categories: Necessary (always on — required for the site to function), Analytics (opt-in — helps us understand usage), and Marketing (opt-in — for advertising attribution). You can update your preferences at any time via the cookie banner.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email booking@scolamedia.com with the subject “Privacy Request”.

If you are in California (CCPA) or another jurisdiction with similar regulations, additional rights may apply, including the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. Scola Media does not sell personal information.

Data retention

Lead and quote requests are retained for 24 months. Active client records are retained for the duration of the project plus 7 years for tax purposes. Anonymized analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (14 months unless extended).

Security

We use HTTPS site-wide, signed webhooks for payment confirmations, hashed magic-link tokens for portal authentication, and rate limiting on public endpoints. Despite our efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date below. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
